The Laurel Palliative Care Foundation provides funds for essential services to patients at end-of-life, who use the services of Southern Adelaide Palliative Service (SAPS), either in the Laurel Hospice itself, or within the community. In addition, the Foundation provides funds to support the families of these patients through a range of services including the complementary care and art therapy programs.
To ensure noone will face death or bereavement within our Southern Adelaide community without the care and support they need.
- Develop a fundraising strategy which ensures the ongoing and sustainable funding for the complementary care and art therapy programs and the provision of specialised equipment.
- Develop high-level relationships with research institutions which result in the provision of commissioning of key research into improved palliative and end of life models of care.
- Develop collaborations with education institutions which result in the provision of enhanced and contemporary palliative and end-of-life care education programs.
